listed the top two of each of the 3 options below.

out there.

Prescription
This type of treatment is actually the best in my opinion,
as these treatments can get to the root of the problem and are
more long-term solutions. They can treat the
core of the problem; over production of oils and excess
bacteria.
To get access to prescription treatment you will need to
visit your local GP or dermatologist. They will look at 2
things to decide the treatment they will give you;
- What you SAY and HOW your acne looks
- The PREVIOUS treatments you have had and how effective
they were.
From that decision they then decide which kind of treatment
to give you, the main ones are;
These are all very powerful treatments, that get to the core
of the problem, and usually show very positive results in most
people's cases.

Top Tip - Don't PICK, POKE or try to POP
spots. This will just further spread bacteria around your
face, and cause further acne outbreaks.
Over-the-counter
If you do not wish to seek professional medical attention
then you may try over-the-counter treatments.
They may not be as effective as prescribed treatments, but they
are easily accessed and have recieved positive results from
some people.
Acne101 has reviewed the Top 10 Acne Products, to make
your choice easier.
The most common ingredients in over-the-counter
products are;

Some of the most common brand names for
over-the-counter medication are;
- Neutrogena On-the-Spot.
- Clearasil.
- Oxy-10.
- Fostex.
- Clear by Design.
- Persa-Gel.
In my opinion, over-the-counter treatments should only
be used for Mild Acne, and
anything above that should be visiting their local GP or
dermatologist ASAP.

TOP TIP - Drink 8 glasses of water a day.
This will flush out toxins through your kidneys, instead of
being released through your skin pores, which could cause acne
outbreaks.
Natural Home Remedy Treatments
If you do not feel like taking chemicals, then you may want
to try some Natural Home Remedy
Acne Treatments. These mainly use ingredients that you
already have at home or can be easily picked up at your local
supermarket.
Some are completely useless and you will make you look a
little bit silly, but some can be very powerful and completely
treat your acne.
I have compiled a list of the most effective treatments on
